Hong Kong Medical Consultants (HKMC) and Hong Kong College of Nursing feel privileged and honoured to participate in the running of the Community Vaccination Centre (CVC) at the Kowloon Bay Sports Centre. The Centre officially operated today.
The Chairman of HKMC, Dr. Kenneth WT Tsang (Photo one) was interviewed by international media and elaborate on the preparation work and related operational arrangements of the Centre.
Dr Eddie WY Cheung, Infection Control Task Force In-charge and Covid-19 Vaccination Committee Doctor-in-charge of HKMC (Left, photo two) shared with the media, “We have vaccinated few hundreds of individuals with CoronaVac in the first few hours after the centre opening. With the strong academic expertise, clinical experience and stringent governance, we vehemently aims to deliver quality vaccination services for our citizens”.
Professor Thomas KS Wong PhD JP, Vice-President of Hong Kong College of Nursing (Right, photo two) added, “This programme is of paramount importance in order to safeguard public health and will hopefully help resume normal activities in our society. It is our mission to defeat COVID-19 together with Hong Kong people”.
