Re: Recall of Aprovel Tablets and CoAprovel Tablets
On the 21st of October 2021, the Department of Health has recalled 5 batches of the following four products from the market as a precautionary measure, due to the presence of an impurity in the products.

At Hong Kong Medical Consultants, we have records of all dispensed batches of medicines to safeguard our patients in an event like this. From our procurement history, only one of these five batches are in use and we are contacting the affected patients to recall these medicines. If you do not hear from us, it is likely your medicine is NOT being affected.
The Department of Health has not received any adverse reaction, reports in connection with the products so far. It is advised by the Department of Health that patients who are taking the recalled products should not stop taking them but to seek advice from healthcare professionals as soon as possible.
