Breast cancer is a malignant tumor evolved in breast tissue, and may appear in both women and men.

Risk factors

Family history (e.g. gene mutations at BRCA 1 or BRCA 2), aging, having never given birth or never breastfed, unhealthy lifestyle like lack of exercises, alcohol abuse, early menstruation or late menopause.

Common symptoms

Lumps in breasts, size or shape of breasts changes, abnormal skin of breasts or nipples, nipple retraction, nipple discharge, etc.

Diagnosis methods

Mammography, ultrasonography, biopsy, blood test, magnetic resonance imaging, etc.

Treatment methods

Surgical resection, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy hormontherapy, etc., and medication relieving patients' discomfort caused by cancer or treatment.
